This project, which aims to monitor thermal variations in the Mediterranean&#8217;s ultra-coastal waters, sees close collaboration between scientific institutions, local businesses and science-loving citizens. <strong>CNR IAS<\/strong> laboratories have know-how, advanced research and development capabilities, and are the ideal place to <em>test <\/em>and <em>calibrate<\/em> the loggers before their deployment in the field. In fact, these devices are crucial for collecting accurate and reliable data, which will enable a better understanding of the impact of climate change on marine ecosystems.   <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;The testing process is crucial to ensure that our sensors are fully functional and ready for field deployment,&#8221; explained Dr. Stefano Marras, <strong>MedSeaPod<\/strong> project scientific officer. The data we collect will be crucial for our research and for promoting environmental sustainability in the Mediterranean.&#8221;  <\/p>\n\n<p>Preliminary testing in CNR IAS laboratories is a key step toward project implementation.
