Carloforte, Dec. 15, 2024<\/strong> – A crucial meeting for the MedSeaPod<\/strong> project was held today at the Carloforte City Hall<\/strong>. The meeting was attended by a representative of the MedSeaPod<\/strong> project team, the Mayor of Carloforte<\/strong>, Stefano Rombi<\/em>, and a representative of the Coast Guard<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The meeting was organized to explain the MedSeaPod project in detail and to clarify every aspect related to its implementation. The project, which aims to monitor thermal variations in the Mediterranean’s ultra-coastal waters, is an initiative involving close collaboration between scientific institutions, local businesses, and science-minded citizens. <\/p>\n\n

During the meeting, the MedSeaPod<\/strong> team presented a comprehensive overview of the objectives<\/strong>, methodologies <\/strong>and equipment <\/strong>that will be used, including the data logger sensors currently being tested in CNR IAS<\/strong> laboratories. The importance of collaboration with local authorities to ensure the success of the project was also discussed. Mayor Stefano Rombi<\/em> expressed his full support for the initiative, stressing the importance of scientific research for the protection of the marine environment and the welfare of the local community.
